Partner links
Assign partners to branded links and understand one-active-assignment, program defaults, and historical behavior.
What partner links are
A partner link is a normal Nimriz short link with an active partner assignment.
Partner links support partner, affiliate, referral, creator, ambassador, agency, channel, co-marketing, and B2B attribution workflows when the relationship is link-driven.
Assignment behavior
Nimriz supports one active partner assignment per link. This keeps attribution explainable for reports and reconciliation exports.
When a link has an active partner assignment, future clicks can capture partner and program context at click time.
Program context
If the selected partner has an active primary program, the program context follows the partner assignment.
You can optionally apply program UTM and custom query defaults while creating or editing the link. Applying defaults copies the current values onto the link. Future program edits do not rewrite saved links.
Historical behavior
Partner assignments affect future clicks only.
Assigning a partner to a link does not backfill older clicks. Removing an assignment does not rewrite historical traffic, conversion attribution, or exports.
Who can assign partners
Admins and members can assign partners to links when the workspace has partner setup access.
Program and partner management remains admin-only.
Recommended workflow
- Create the program.
- Create the partner record.
- Create or edit the branded link.
- Choose the partner in the link builder.
- Apply program defaults only when they match the link.
- Send traffic after the assignment is saved.
