QR Codes dashboard

Use the QR Codes area to save static QR codes, organize them in folders, and reach dynamic QR, presets, analytics, and exports.

QR Codes in your dashboard

The QR Codes area brings your QR work into one place. Open it from QR Codes in the dashboard sidebar.

It includes:

  • Overview: a summary of your saved static QR codes, dynamic link QR codes, folders, and recent QR exports.
  • Create QR: a type picker that explains each option before you start.
  • Static QR: save, edit, and download static QR codes.
  • Dynamic QR: open any short link to style and download its editable, trackable QR.
  • Retail & GS1: create product-backed GS1 Digital Link QR and GS1 DataMatrix assets on Professional and Enterprise plans.
  • Presets, Analytics, and Bulk and exports: shortcuts into your existing QR presets, QR scan analytics, and bulk QR downloads.

Static versus dynamic QR

Choose the right kind before you print.

  • Static QR is quick and works offline. The content is fixed inside the code, so it cannot be edited or tracked after you print it.
  • Dynamic QR is backed by a Nimriz short link. You can edit the destination after printing and track scans separately from clicks.

If you need to change a destination later or measure scans, use a dynamic QR.

Saving static QR codes

On the Static QR page you can save static QR codes to your workspace and reuse them.

Supported types:

  • Website URL, plain text, WiFi, WhatsApp, email, phone, and SMS.
  • Contact card (vCard and MeCard), calendar event, and location.

To create one:

  1. Select New static QR.
  2. Choose a type and fill in the fields. A live preview updates as you type.
  3. Give it a name, pick a color, and optionally choose a folder.
  4. Select Save static QR.

You can then download a PNG or SVG, and rename, duplicate, archive, edit, or delete the code later.

A note on private content

Some static QR codes can contain private details, such as a WiFi password, a message, or contact information. When you save one of these, Nimriz asks you to confirm first, because saving stores that content in your workspace. Share these codes only with people you trust.

Static QR scans are not tracked

A static QR code resolves straight to its encoded content, so scans on it cannot be tracked. If you want scan analytics, convert it to a dynamic QR. For URL-based static codes, use Convert to editable dynamic QR to create a trackable Nimriz link with the same destination.

Folders

Use folders to organize your static QR codes by campaign or project. Create a folder, assign codes to it, and filter the list by folder. Each folder shows how many codes it holds. Deleting a folder keeps its codes and simply unfiles them.

Bulk and exports

On the Bulk & Exports page you can generate many QR assets at once.

  • Static QR bulk export: select saved static QR codes, choose PNG or SVG and a size, and generate a single ZIP archive. The ZIP includes a manifest.json that lists each code and whether it rendered. If some codes cannot render, the ZIP still includes the ones that succeeded.
  • Retail & GS1 export: select generated GS1 QR or GS1 DataMatrix assets from the Retail & GS1 workspace and queue a ZIP archive with optional validation report files.
  • Link QR bulk download: select links in the Links table to download their QR codes as a ZIP.
  • Export history: track the status of every QR ZIP and download it when it is ready, in the Exports area.

Bulk QR downloads are available on Growth plans and above.

Importing static QR codes from a CSV

You can create many saved static QR codes at once from a CSV file.

  • Use the columns name, type, and data, with optional message, subject, folder, and color.
  • Supported types are website URL, plain text, phone, email, WhatsApp, SMS, and location.
  • Rows are validated individually. Valid rows are created and any rows with problems are reported so you can fix and re-import them.

To import dynamic, trackable QR codes in bulk, use the Links CSV import. Each created link then exposes a QR code you can style and download.

CSV import is available on Growth plans and above.

Retail & GS1

Retail & GS1 gives Professional and Enterprise workspaces a product-backed workflow for GS1 Digital Link validation, GS1 QR and DataMatrix asset generation, resolver rules, and validation reports.

Use standards-aware validation before printing, and confirm your GTIN ownership and retailer or partner requirements outside Nimriz.

QR API

On Professional plans and above you can manage saved static QR codes and QR folders programmatically with your workspace API key, generate QR assets for your links, and use Retail & GS1 API endpoints when your workspace includes Retail & GS1 access. See the API reference for the available endpoints.

Plan availability

The QR Codes area is available on every plan. Each plan includes a number of saved static QR codes and folders, and higher plans include more. Styled QR presets, QR scan analytics, bulk QR downloads, and QR API access follow their own plan availability. See your plan for details.
